Satisfy Your Senses at this year’s Tastes at the Bay
The spectacular waterfront at d’Albora Marinas on the Nelson Bay foreshore will host local fine food restaurants, wineries from the Hunter Valley and Port Stephens along with music to make your day.
Now in its 10th year, this major culinary event also offers a selection of interesting activities in Apex Park on Government Road, adjacent to d’Albora Marinas.
Festival's times are:
· Saturday 6 November 10am to 8pm
· Sunday 7 November, 10am to 5pm.
In 2009 Tastes At The Bay Festival Participants Enjoyed...
· Bush Tucker Cocktail Party, a Native Cuisine Celebration on Saturday 7. Open your mind to a whole new cuisine by exploring the use of native ingredients and their exquisite tastes. Tantalize your taste buds with creations such as Emu Prosciutto, Salt & Pepper Crocodile, Lemon Myrtle Infused Local Barramundi.
· Join the inaugural Chefs Table of the Bay on Sunday 8 showcasing the Bay's outstanding chefs, local produce and craft beer. A 6 course Murray’s Craft Brewery Beer Degustation Lunch prepared by our local top chefs using Murray’s Brewery Craft Beer plus one local ingredient. An afternoon for the Gourmets.
· Stroll amongst gourmet food stalls both in the park and at the marina
· Enjoy live traditional, contemporary and Latin Jazz Music right through the day, both days.
· Fun for the family in the form of a Horseshoe Throwing and a Treasure Hunt sponsored by Nelson Bay & District Business Chamber, will add to the colour of this popular event.
