Briar Ridge Vineyard is a boutique winery situated at Mount View, 300 feet above the valley floor – the “dress circle’ of the Hunter Valley.  Briar Ridge offers a haven of tranquillity – take a break to absorb the silence and enjoy the rare beauty of the Brokenback range.
Established in 1972, Briar Ridge Vineyard has built an enviable reputation producing some of the Hunter’s most sought after wines.  The soils of Briar Ridge make all the difference to the character of our wines.  Deep, rich and fertile with a limestone base, their ochre red colour denotes
iron oxide, an essential  ingredient.  The combination of soil, nutrients and local microclimate give Briar Ridge wines a flavour and character that is unique to the Mount View area
